This sailboat is a 65' schooner named the Heron. We came back later this day to do a sunset sail on it.
We beached on the rocky shore and then snorkeled to the other side of the island. Saw large underwater rocks surrounded by coral, many colorful fish, and swam with our first sea turtle!
Mooring buoys are in the bay so that ships don't drop anchor and wreck coral.
On board the Heron for our sunset sail.
We sailed by the British Virgin Islands - Jost Van Dyke, Tortola, Little Thatch, and Great Thatch.
What a beautiful wife I have!
a perfect evening
The captain takes us to shore in a dingy.
Each day we would visit a new beach and see new things underwater.
Arriving at Honeymoon Beach....on our honeymoon!
Sarah found this in the cottage library and read it for the first time on the island.
Honeymoon had really good snorkeling. I saw many new fish and swam with another turtle.
A land crab on the hike out.
Two thirds of the island is national park.
the steep driveway down to the villa/cottage
a passing rainstorm
I got to see an octopus while snorkeling here, very cool!
